Menus and Toolbars

Shortcut menu

At the top of the screen, we have added a shortcut menu for the common commands.

You cannot hide it, or add or remove commands to or from it.

New Menus

There is a new pseudo Ribbon style menu.

Previously, the menus were drop-down textual menus.

Now, each command in a menu has a large icon with the command-name. You can also choose to see the Hint, as always.

Show Menus and/or Toolbars

You can now show Menus and Toolbars, or show only Menus, or only Toolbars - see Application-Settings > Accessibility tab.

Menus and Toolbar Options

You can choose to show:

•Menus only

•Toolbars only (as in MD13, ... , MD16)

•Menus and Toolbars together

Dynamics

A major new development. You can analyze the dynamics of one and two degree of freedom kinematic-chains.

By dynamics, we mean the “vibrational” response of a kinematic-chain to an input motion, in which the Parts have Mass, Mass Moments of Inertia, Stiffness. Joints can have Friction and Damping.

You can compare the vibrational-response to the input motion as a scrolling graph or fixed time graph.
